On a literal level this song is about one's consciousness being trapped in a body that is dead and buried and rotting. Similar to "Triumph of Death" by Hellhammer, and "Buried Alive" by Venom. As an experience these songs are a pretty good description of some aspects of the extremes of clinical Depression. Being one I would know. |
