Im sorry guys, but it is so obvious that this song has nothing to do with having seizures. You just simply don't drill wires through your cheek while your'e trying to keep someone from swallowing their own tungue. But you might do everything you can to hold youself down to protect yourself from you. This song is so obviously not about any other girl or a relationship with any girl because it gives no indication to any of that. Does not once mention her or she. It doesnt mention boyfriend, girlfriend or husband and wife. It clearly mentions a teacher and a masochist who is clearly the same person. The teacher has no choice but to see that the masochist is protected in order to protect himself. The teacher is basically telling his other self (the masochist) can't keep living his fucked up life. A double personality has to be rough when one feels the need to defeat the other. The teacher part of him wants the masochist part of him to get off the bullshit before he kills him, which in turn would kill himself. The song explains it as if the two had out of body double personalities. Now! I will be able to explain exactly what this song is about with one little line from the song that will prove it all. First of all, he is the teacher that is totally aware of the masochist that dwells within him. The teacher is trying to keep the masochist under control by holding his own body down. It's a love hate relations between these personalities that cant be sepperated and the only other way would be for one to kill the other, which in turn would kill himself. Are you guys ready for that one line that proves my theory? "Where lonliness is history" Saying that lonliness is history is implying that he will never feel alone again. And we know there is only one person that you can never be alone from.. Yourself. |

| @[Faith_Fell:19819] definately not multiple or even split personalities. Those types of personalities would be almost contradictive, or even of unknowing their other self. This is more like a double personality where one is aware of the other. Each of these two personalities in thisbsong, I believe is a love hate towards the other. One of himself is the masochist, and the other one of himself is the teacher. When he uses words like, you, us and our, he is speaking to his other self as a totaly different entity. Its like he comes out of himself to try and end a never ending battle with himself. Just my opinion on the personality disorder but I agree the most of your post. If it was multiple prsnlty, he (Justin) would definately be smashing the state.lol. That's what I do.. | |

I, me -teacher -protector. You, your -masochist -private bomb. The teacher is trying to help the masochist with his obsessions by trying to hold him down. He puts the wallet in his own mouth which actually belongs to the masochist within himself so the masochist wont bleed from the wire through the teachers cheek. It seems more like a double personality than a split. Split personalities are more contradictory to one another. This is a love hate relationship with both parts of himself. And you cant kill just a half of yourself. Almost like trying to battle your addicted half with your other more fucked up half. Although it's a double personality where each one is both love and hate towards the other, they know that they share the same sleeve. There is no mention of her or anyone else in this song. He is the masochist, the assailant, and he is the teacher, the protector. Trying to protect himself from his other self. Myself and I we share this barely beating heart of hurt. And of course he wouldn't refer to the other part of him as I, which really makes people believe its about someone else, in which I believe, is what he wants people to believe. Justin may have dealt, or tried to deal with alot of messed up issues, feelings and emotions, but to explain them in song in this way, is pure genieous. . |

@[SexyAss14:9722] I think that the part where he says "took all my love" was the fact that what he had witnessed was something that he just couldn't imagine could be done, by anyone, and I think it took away all the love he had for humanity. Another thing, I don't believe he witnessed the murder itself, but he was there when the van pulled up to drop the body off. I drempt this song before it came out. Man it seemed so real. |
