@[dmmcd:15121] @[Altnation7:15122] just because you are marching swords your death doesn't mean it's bad. the difference in the line he chose was that it was his choice. The first line he didn't know what it was or why they were walking. That's why I agree that it's a reference swords God and becoming a believer. Even tho he is walking to his death, he finally found something worth following there. Also Tyler is a Christian so I find it hard to believe he would be cynical twords it although I do see and appreciate to the vagueness of the song. |

@[alex978103:9713] The battle is between our flesh and our spirit. The band members are christian and in our religion we sin when we associate with our flesh. He is asking God to help polarize the two or as you said separate the two compleatly. As for the Better brother better son he is referring to us. We are his brothers in Christ and by sinning he feels he let us down. And he is a son to God who he feels he let down as well. Thats why on Sundays he is on fire with the holy spirit but then he feels he lost it. The battle is always there and he is asking God for help. the who album actually has this theme. |
