| Bring Me the Horizon – Deathbeds (feat. Hannah Snowdon) Lyrics | 9 years ago |
| I interpret this as a song not about love, but about lust. It's all there in the lyrics/the way Oli sings. Think about it; 'I watch you like a hawk, I watch you like I'm gonna tear you limb from limb. Will the hunger ever stop?' - he watches this girl from afar, and he watches her with greed and obsession. 'Don't try fight the storm, you'll tumble overboard, tides will bring me back to you' - this is him expressing the feelings he has for her, he can't fight them because if he does they'll just return anyway. 'And on my deathbed, all I see is you. The life may leave my lungs, but my heart will stay with you' - he will want her until the day he dies, and even after that. There are many more lyrics that suggest that this is a song about lust, I have just picked out the most important sort of ones. | |
