"I hate the life I made" => He now sees that his selfishness led him to destroy his life ("cannibal"), so he now has to "got to bring [himself] back from the dead". He wants to quit with this old lifestyle ("break [his] crown") and doesn't want anything to do with that past (the first two lines). Since he brought himself there he pretty much can't change anything. He is "fighting [his] life to the end of [his] days". He realises that he wasted many opportunities in life due his narcissism. | |
