Just gonna say the way I interpret the line "the needle in your skin will bring you closer to god", because as far as I've read no one mentioned it.
Ok so the "closer to god" I interpret as closer to dying. Cuz I'm pretty depressed so I pick up on these things. So whoever has the needle in their skin wants to die....
