This is honesty one of my all time favorite songs. This band is really underrated. Listening to the song gives an entire different meaning to the song rather than just reading the lyrics. I think this song is about people in the authors life that tore him down and have lived long and successful lives whereas his life appears to be torture. He fantasizes tearing his enemies' lives down as they have done to him. |

She describes how the victim and criminal are under "shining lights" where everyone can see them, meaning likely no one is doing anything about it. This song could mean a literal criminal or be metaphorical and have a deeper meaning. |
