To me this song is about keeping someone a secret. He might aready be in a relationship or it might be that he is going back to his ex, sleeping with here again even though she cheated, so now its just sex and he's not loving her the way he wanted to anymore, everything is wrong, he knows he messed up to go back to this woman but he does love her even though this love is different than the love he expected. So she is just a secret no one has to know how little dignity he has.
