| Nirvana means a peaceful/enlightened/perfect state of mind. Adam is talking about "we"---that is, two lovers---and "safe on a higher plane." Also there is "watch the mystic and cryptic unfold." If you connect the implication of some danger, unacceptance and out of the ordinary behind these words and the fact that Adam is gay, you can guess the lyrics are talking about the longing and hope the LGBT people have. At least, that's what I think. | |
