Here's my take on this awesome song. The singer is in a depressive, alcoholic, funk after being dumped. Although he describes himself ironically as feeling fine, he's lost in depression, trapped in the days between the hours. Flowers and buildings grow around him, but time doesn't pass for him, he just leafs through the notes his lover sent to him, waiting to understand. |
