| Twenty One Pilots – March to the Sea Lyrics | 9 years ago |

I am not seeing the Sherman's march to the sea reference here, but instead see the title referring to lemmings which have been said to follow one another right off a cliff and plunge to their deaths in the sea. But what is interesting is that he seems to have a profound moment where he is called by a divine force to follow Him instead of all of the other lemmings, but then God seems to put him right back into the line which is marching to the sea and to their deaths (which makes sense since the author is still mortal after all). So I think this probably refers to dealing with the fact that even though the author has accepted God's call to follow him, the author wakes up the next morning after his conversion only to realize that he is still going to have to live this mortal life and continue the march to his death. |

| Twenty One Pilots – Air Catcher Lyrics | 9 years ago |
| An air catcher is just another term for the parachute he mentions. He's used to being in control of his feelings when he is in a relationship, which means that he allows his love to evolve on his own terms and controls it with the "cord" he mentions. He "parachutes" into love at his own pace. But he has lost control of his air catcher with this woman; he is falling in love with her. However, he is uncomfortable with giving her the tools to destroy his heart (saying that he loves her which opens him up to this pain). By the end he decides to say he loves her and give in to his love for her even though he knows it will open him up to being hurt by her. | |
