I believe that Robert James DIO was an initiated. He was really on something. Call it spiritual, esoteric or so. And that's why he joined Black Sabath, and then left it. Because he tought that he was going to find his in iniciatic path trough Black Sabath, but he did'nt. That's why he created his own rock band. DIO And about Shame on the Night, he plays a double game, just like on Holy Diver. He's a genious, because he gave you something veru superfitial and easy to understand, but he gaves you lot more if you get deep on his song Shame On The Night talks about how the night take away the light from us, our main source of life. But it also explains how the shadow on the human soul can take appart the most valuable things we have. Our sould itself. Shame on You is a way to tell you that you're selling your most valuable part, wich is your soul, for something else ThX and Cheers |
