| The song is obviously about child abuse. The band is not bashing God they are questioning why God would allow something so horrific. Unless you were sexually abused as a child you have absolutely no idea how abandoned you feel by God. I was molested multiple times in my childhood and regardless of my faith I questioned why such a horror was allowed to happen to me. Pretty standard, normal response. Skid row got into the mind of the abused and poetically expressed the feelings they experience. So please get off your soap box only speak about things in which you have a clue about. A molested child is taught to say everything is great and God is good. A person never heals concealing their wounds and denying their scars. | |
