I think shes destroying herself In order to save a relationship that is hanging by a string. ("I'll wrap up my bones and leave them out of this home out on the road.") She stays because he is the only home she knows even though its not a warm one anymore its still a home. She swallows all the hateful words/actions forcing herself to find the fire that drew them both together but that fire is gone. Its all so cold and bitter now. All she knows is she still loves him and he loves her and isn't love supposed to be enough? Through It all she will keep on pretendin everything is okay in hopes that one day it will be. These are just my thoughts on this beautiful song that I can not stop listening to. |
