To me, I feel like this song is about being in love with someone who is playing games or is only sexually interested in you. "Don't you want to take time and get to love me We could build a perfect world I got tricks I really want to show you I could be your perfect girl, all right" - She's trying to show that if given the chance she would make a great partner. and with "I let your love TEASE (not take) me Now I am your love's whore Keep me hardly breathing But, I can only love you more I can only love you more" - She might be sleeping with this person or just in a flirtationship but it feels like a tease, she wants more. By saying she's love's whore means at this point she will do anything to get this person's full affection. This person may hurt her or lead her on but she doesn't care because this person is all she wants. |

As women we get catcalled or followed regularly and it's just super uncomfortable and creepy. I feel like this song is about depression and/or anxiety and paranoia. If have anxiety a big part of it is questioning a lot of things you do, even your own thoughts. Which is displayed by the lyrics in parenthesis. Also when you're depressed every day feels like a television show re-run you've seen 500 times. | I think the meaning of this song is someone who doesn't want to fall in love with a certain person because this person has hurt them in the past and they don't want to get hurt again. They have to worry about how they look and what they're saying because they don't want to lose this person. What I got from "I won't be your cry baby" was "Even if your hurt me again I won't let you see that I'm hurting." | |
