Suicide Silence – No Pity For A Coward Lyrics 10 years ago
I am a new listener to Suicide Silence, I have been listening to them for about 1 month. What I can understand about this specific song is mostly like a lot of the comments I have seen. This song is about people who threaten to commit suicide and never go through with it. Most people that threaten to commit suicide never will as it is only a way for them to seek attention, they want to hear things like "please don't", this gives them a sense of they are still wanted, but to me this is not a proper way to demotivate someone to commit suicide, this only drives them to seek more attention like that. To tell someone that they should just kill themselves is a proper way to demotivate people as they don't get the "fun" reaction of sympathy out of this type of reaction, thus demotivating them. This won't work with all people, some of them would just kill themselves as the some comes down as a cold song not a sense of people caring, thus making it sound precisely like the rest of the world, no one cares if you commit suicide just do it. the song: Suicide Stigma from The Color Morale with I think the same intentions as this one uses the caring point of view to save people. This part of the lyrics "Can your god save you now?" could mean a direct attack on Christianity or any other religion for that matter as all religions have gods they believe in. This could also just be a way of saying that Killing yourself is completely your choice your god won't save you from this as it is considered wrong to kill yourself in most religions, it is deemed unforgivable this is why a god won't save you from suicide.
