The Wedge is also a border line error in the original lay-out of the Mason Dixon line, where the curve of the top of Delaware incompletely intersects with the 90 degree angle the Mason-Dixon line makes at Newark, Delaware. This wedge of land is in Newark, DE where I happened to see my first Phish show in 1993. So there's that, too.... woah dude. :) |

One interpretation might be to take "The Road" as touring with phish, which has been known to be hard on folks in various ways, including the band itself! At one point even the band was "run over" by the intensity of the party scene.... But having first been played in 1985.... the band would obviously not have been writing about touring with the band in the mid nineties. So dance on, Phish heads. |
