@[mikeyj420:8102] Exactly. While he did say it was about skydiving, AC/DC also said Night Prowler was about kids sneaking into other kids rooms and stuff like that. Clearly it wasn't, but they needed to say something to make it so they weren't stupidly blamed/connected to the Night Stalker killings, and the same can be applied here. There are obvious implications of meth addiction and/or suicide that can be covered up by "skydiving," and he obviously wouldn't want to be blamed for causing suicides or something stupid like that, as seen in the past with Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne's court cases involving their songs and the suicide of their listeners. Anyone with half of a working brain can tell that Mustaine, writer of Holy Wars, Peace Sells, and all of his other meaningful songs, wouldn't be writing about a fucking skydiving trip. |
