| @[Cokenuts:7866] i've looked it up some more, and another (more likely) explanation is a woman, married to a rich man, having an affair with the weeknd. The refrain would refer to how he can only be together with her when the husband is at work (half past five). The first part of the song the weeknd wants to make the relation more public, but she wants it to remain hidden. In the second part he tells about how he's addicted to drugs, he also makes clear that the woman doesn't mean everything to him. The hills have eyes refer to the upper class of the woman, how people gossip about each other and how she had no right to judge him and feel better than him. | |

I think the song is about him loving a girl, but also doing drugs together with the girl. The opening 'your man on the road' would be her dealer, the 'business on the low-low' would refer to the secracy of drug transactions. Then she wants to keep the relationship and the drugs hidden from her friends. The main theme is about them getting high and loving each other late at night. Im not sure what the hills have eyes part is about, maybe about how society would look down upon them and they have to keep it hidden from everyone (lie about it) I'd love to hear other peoples opinions about this songs since some parts are a little vague. |
