I used to be unsure of what this song was about, but now I am almost certain it at least in part has to do with molestation. Particularly, Elliott's feeling about Charlie (his step father, who he suspected molested him when he was young). Specifically lines like: Mr. Big got an expectation Thinks he thinks he's my education ... Why don't you go for yourself And take what's coming to you? Finding out certain things about my own situation has allowed me to see this. At least, so I think. But it would be consistent with themes Elliott uses in hus music. |
