| I think, that this song meaning is pretty strainght forward, he is loving someone who doesn't love him back. However, I think that they are sleeping together, perhaps the girl has a boyfriend. He feels trapped, cause she keeps him hanging on in a way, that he thinks, he might be her boyfriend, not just lover, but she is completely fine with him being just lover and enjoys it, that's why she keeps him around. And when he talks about the couple on the bus he mentions trust, cause he knows, that the girl is lying to her boyfriend and the boyfriend has trust in her, but he doesn't know he shouldn't. | |

I really think that this song is talking about matrix. The matrix from movie Matrix(duh). So why do I think so.
