This song delves far deeper than simply being in what Will I AM refers to as 'the club', but rather the oppressive white, patriarchal state in which many minorities remain to suffer within. "It goes on and on and on and on" - Will I AM addresses the fact that this ideology is never ending, a cyclic continuum, if you will. "I wanna scream and shout and let it all out" - Will I AM is clearly growing tired of the social status in which many Americans base their lives around, and he simply wants to let out his emotions in the form of a loud outburst. |
