@[Sibuna:29031] I agree, But i would suggest that it is even wider. I Think it's not just about Mass shootings or terrorist attacks, but rather all terrible things; Natural Disasters, Famine, War, Death, Outbreaks of disease, Global Warming. It's about acting on these things instead of changing your profile picture on facebook, to go help people in need, or to donate to the causes instead of just sitting and talking about how horrible it is, and sending your "Thoughts and prayers". |

@[gmluk:8504] You're right, it's an amazing song, from an amazing album. The album follows a father, whose daughter has committed suicide, and he reads her diary, it deals with his grief, self blame, and depression. This song is about how he starts to notice light comming back to his world that has been darkened by the grief over his daugther and the depression that followed (Looked around me as I noticed some flowers covering stony space), and how he welcomes it back and wishes for "colours" (light, positivity what ever you would call it) to come back into his life (Colors please grow for me, paint my world rosily, Keep me just sheltered and warm.). And so forth. Intense sound and lyrics in this song. |

I disagree with the other commenters. I belive the song is about a depressed person, a person who never changes, a guy who keeps saying "one year from now" instead of saying "tomorrow". He keeps waiting for changes to happen instead of making them happening. |
