| The Beatles – Hello, Goodbye Lyrics | 8 years ago |
|
Positivity versus negativity. In a world where everyone is trying to tear everyone else down using the fear of shame and humiliation we limit individuals from experiencing life and limiting their true potential. I say *high*, you say *low*, you say *why*, I say *I don’t know* > people demand you, in an effort to conform, to stay “low” and “humble” (aka in line) with regard to the majority. I think the song is trying to say, why you holding me up? I’m positive. I can think, you don’t agree with the way I think and you limit my potential instead of saying hello, you say goodbye. Who can understand someone who dares crush your curiosity and enthusiasm for life? I don’t know. |

| Yea, Polyester Day is supercool, but "Believe" & "Why?" are the real stunners. Amazing album on the whole, under-appreciated as most great art tends to be, but not by all of Us. Excellence. | |

| @[Scabster:7188] it's definitely unnerving to think most of the people that like this tune and the ones screaming it at their shows are/were bricks in the wall. | |
