@[keystothekid:7117] There is actually an amazing amount of reference to Greek Mythology and Christianity, other religions motifs in Bloc Party's lyrics altogether. I feel like its a sort of reference to clashing and mixing of cultures, or being on the outside or against certain cultural circles. Or just part of general historical references, which they do often as well. |

@[chrysi1234:7115] While Thetis did dip her son in the river Styx, she held him by his heel, and so Achilleus died when shot in his "Achilleus Heel". However, I think the reference is actually to the fact that the river Styx is actually a river of the underworld, and its the river the ferryman (Charon) will take you across when you die. |
