Garbage – Not Your Kind Of People Lyrics 10 years ago
@[seeing:6987] Could be about the Anti-SJW movement also. That or it simply fits well for it. I've been paying attention to the movement and its opposite for some time now.

Anti-SJWs, especially MGTOWs, believe that much of what the SJWs purport is lies and fakeness. Many of the SJWs arguments fall flat rather easily in a debate setting (It doesn't take much for someone to shut you down).

I've heard an interpretation of the lyrics saying "When you build a shell, build an army in your mind." It could refer to the safe-spaces the SJWs attempt to create to hide from opposing opinions, the army in their mind could be the minorities, whom they use as their shield from criticism. "You can't sit still and you don't like hanging around the crowds." They're hardly ever silent and they don't like any form of opposition. They want to put their ideas forward without any form of criticism.

Next section, SJWs look for anywhere they can stick their ideology into, Anti-SJWs laugh as they refute the SJWs rather easily, and the SJWs accuse them of racism/ sexism/ etc.

Won't be cast as demons, creatures you despise. Obviously, the opposition to the SJW movements (MRAs for example) are portrayed as regressive, evil, bigots. In reality, that is not the case. They're brilliant thinkers that can see through the lies and hypocrisy of the opposition.
