| Billy Joel – Vienna Lyrics | 6 years ago |
| this song to me is a wonedrful piece of music, without lyrics, love the piano and the acordeon solo.. very classic. yet, what I made out from the lyrics is one thing only .. life is now, live it. | |
| Rainbow – The Temple Of The King Lyrics | 6 years ago |
| The "circle" could be the people standing around his grave at funeral - he's in the middle of the circle of people. | |

@[boniknik:29878] I never knew what this song meant, just now looking at your interpretation and it makes 100% sense. I think in one verse it is specifically his resurrection: There in the middle of the people he stands Seeing, feeling With just a wave of a strong right hand He's gone To the temple of the king Beautiful song. |

| Electric Light Orchestra – Four Little Diamonds Lyrics | 7 years ago |

This song sounds like She pissed Him off, because she lied to him and stole something from him, perhaps 4 little diamonds (could be a guitar?) & he is after her, trying to chase her down with police or himself to get the diamonds back. RE konayim.. FOUR is funny and you can hear before that "is this on?" LOL |

| Dire Straits – Brothers In Arms Lyrics | 10 years ago |
| @[jackburtone:6982] the metaphor of "Brothers" seems to be misinterpreted by many, since the brothers are basically the enemies, and they all must die in order to survive. You got it right and I agree with what you wrote. | |

Brothers in Arms are in my interpretation the humans of two battlefields that are sent to fight each other. They may be beautiful people but the war came in their life, so they must fight in nonsense war - they must die, "every man has to die", it is planned, predicted, unfortunate, sad and dictated by "the stars" and it is shame to make war on other humans - "We are fools to make war On our brothers in arms " My grandmother who lived in Czechoslovakia during WWII used to tell me a story of German soldiers leaving to East front crying and wanting to go home to Germany, not to fight, they wanted to live, not to die. War is tragic, so is tragic beautifully interpreted in this song. |

| Dire Straits – Iron Hand Lyrics | 10 years ago |
|
It relates to the Battle of Orgreave during the UK miners' strike, with Mark Knopfler remarking on how the police charge on horseback into the crowd of striking miners had reminded him of the savagery of medieval times. The title is most likely a reference to Margaret Thatcher's nickname, the "Iron Lady" |
