The lyrics in the first verse are off. It's "Acting right is so routine", not "acting out of certainty", and it's "fever that misunderstood", not "fever let me sun screw". Hope that clears up interpretation confusion as "sun screw" has no meaning, it is a pure nonsense phrase. The meaning of this song could be related to the lead singer's divorce. The "fever" would be his wife, who's presence in his life used to be everything he lived for, but is now a curse. "Fever got me guilty","Fever got me stressing, realize I am to blame"- Her demands are making him feel terrible about living his life and pursuing his music career. |
