Is this related to the George Orwell fiction dystopia of 1984?

AFI – Endlessly, She Said Lyrics 8 years ago
I feel like it's about all of what you guys are saying, the waiting for love, it ending etc..but I feel like someone in the scenario is immortal. A vampire. Talks about outlasting love and biting through a little. Would make sense because Davey is a huge misfits fan.

Marilyn Manson – Arma-Goddamn-Motherfuckin-Geddon Lyrics 8 years ago
This song is about #Pizzagateberforeitwasnews

Marilyn Manson is telling you how evil and wicked the big cheeses of all your corporations, govt's, scientific research groups and churches are.

There is a secret majority group (internationally) that likes to manipulate, fuck and eat children for enlightenment. In more than one way...

Nephlim are sons of fallen angels and earthly humans/creatures. Allegory of their perspective. Enough said.

AFI – Morningstar Lyrics 10 years ago

You're absolutely wrong. You claim he writes crypticly yet take the most obvious interpretation? It's not about being a "star," or celebrity, he could care less. He is not that vain. It is an allegory of the moral dilemma between humanity, Satan and God. It's called "Morningstar," for a direct reason. Yes Davey grew up very religious, it's his core beliefs whether he ended up going through a crisis of faith or not in his later years he still writes about things that have special meaning to him but may not always be about himself. Maybe you don't have a belief system, it doesn't matter either way, but the tone of your comment gives off the implication that YOU don't want it to be a religiously influenced song. That's not fair to distort it in light of the facts. Also state your sources of interviews. Don't talk out of your butt.

While I enjoy self-interpretation, this song is called "Morningstar," for a reason. Davey isn't singing about merely his "stardom," he is not that vain. He could care less. Rather, Davey grew up with an extremely religious Catholic belief system. He has a general understanding of bible terms and stories along with his own personal interests into astrology and eastern beliefs as well. "Morningstar" is another name for Satan. An allegory depicting his fall from the heavens as well as the Angels that fell after him. What is a star beneath the stairs? Idk. Possibly the morningstar beneath with the stairs leading to "heaven?" "Ghost upon the stage"...he speaks as if the moral dilemma of humanity, God and Satan is an act playing itself out on stage, Satan is the ghost, something the audience fears. "Will you believe in me?" It's the spiritual dilemma we all are faced with, accept the darkness or accept the light or be torn apart by the two. "Will you wish upon him?" Sell your soul, or join the dark side? "Will you walk upon me?" Or will you walk in the light and put him beneath with you? These are just a few things that stand out to me. I think it's a beautiful allegory at best. I also think Davey like most true writers, constructs his messages in a way that they have meaning and purpose to him, yet he leaves room for self-interpretation. That's what makes music and poetry worth while, when it's not completely obvious duh! Good job Davey!!
