This to me has always been one of Pink Floyd\'s easier songs to understand...\nThe "Wall" is the wall one puts up and builds to protect themselves...\nThe "Show" is life itself...\n"Comfortably Numb" represents the losing the sense of wonder and magic you had as a kid, slowly as you "grow-up" and begin to "figure things out" in life, you begin to get numb to your surroundings, you know longer question why things are the way they are, they just are, you\'re getting on with life, but have lost that sense of wonder you had as a kid. You have become comfortably numb. |
