"I'm tired of fading And none of them as pointless for" sounds, and looks more like he's saying in the video "I'm tired of fighting, in another man's pointless war" |

I Also think in the second verse he says "Think I might forget it' Gonna write it down, down, down; If it's copacetic. Bring it back around, round, round" not "Think I might forget it Girl but I don't, don't, don't If it goes to sick Bring it back around, round, round" |

| @[Maelglon:6861] "La mort de l'auteur". The Death of the Author. If one person interprets this song to be about war, it's about war. If another interprets it based on their knowledge of the song's author and his life, so be it. Keep in mind, however, that once a piece (song, poem, novel etc) is written, the piece exists on it's own, as it's own. The intention of the author no longer matters. Sure, Nate Russ probably didn't mean literal war when he wrote the line that fires this discussion, but it doesn't matter what Mr. Russ meant. The author, is dead. | |

| Amazing song, interesting that nobody has commented yet. The lyrics are the same as the ones published on other sites, but I swear he's saying something other than "I've just followed steps". It sounds like something something "start" not steps. | |
