I think this means it shows us that our own desires aren't what we even understand. I see the song as someone who sees something he desires but understands that his concept of love is flawed, hes a man, a twisted fool. His hands are twisted (they've done dispicable things) five fingers (as you see them) but my intentions are evil, cause im only man. All I ever want is love and all I ever want is breaking me apart. Im a man dont spin me a lie, got toes and I can smile. (You see me for the intentions I am showing). Im crooked but upright (I you see me as a good person, but im evil). I think the song shows us who we really are when we get rid of the BS and admit that we want what we want and no one is going to tell us different. |
