i listened to this song for many years now and i came up with a new interpretation yesterday. What if its about a dead guy (he is in heaven) that wants to be with his love again, which is still living? - If the sky is falling (to earth), he can be at her side again. - if she doesn't care about impossible, then this could really happen - he will keep her safe (as a guardian angel?) - "Stars are never out of reach, just reach. hold out your hand and touch the sky...." so they can touch - Maybe when he died when she was there, where she "pulled these words from his lips" that "there's a hope, there's a light (at the end of the tunnel)" And she "held him tight for this moment in time". Could also be about other relationships like family members or anything. The only thing that's not right in this, is the very last sentence :( |
