The song is about a vampire-like relationship, obviously. But, maybe the girl cheated on the boy with one of his closest friends? "I've got a taste for it and I'm obsessed." The boy basically is addicted to her. "I'm not ready to start again, and you're not willing to make amends. Now the daylights dangerous, and it is much too late for us" The boy is scared to start again, the girl is not willing to do anything involving their relationship. They stop their relationship before anything else starts going wrong.
Now, the beginning of the song. "I can't look at you in the same light, knowing what you did my heart doesn't feel right" Again, the girl could've cheated. "He said; she's got a method of killing. Pulling you in like you're gonna start kissin'."
"Before we started it was over." "She gives me a feeling that I can't fight." Those lines probably say it all. |

I think the song is about someone who cannot forget their ex/a person they once loves. The person might be trying to stay in hers/his life. but she/he has a girlfriend/boyfriend but they just want to stay with the person. |
