Manchester Orchestra – Girl Harbor Lyrics 10 years ago
Surface level interpretation:

It seems like a song about all of the quirks his spouse ("your last name is mine") has that bug him. The verses are basically him picking out the flaws, some major, some trivial ("you always talk so loud," "you've rearranged the pieces of your life so many times..."

The chorus is how he deals with it. He has trouble trusting his wife. He says what he needs to (points out the faults).

As the song goes on, he expresses frustrations as the relationship progresses. He thought that marriage would make him forget her faults, but he "feel[s] no different." He knows her faults, and she writes them off, or does nothing to fix them. I think the wasting time is his way of describing procrastinating dealing with her faults. He thinks that part of her hesitation is insecurity. {The first step to solving a problem is admitting you have one} kind of thing. He keeps lamenting her inactivity through the rest of the song.

To get a little deeper:
The song could just as well be about himself, writing from her perspective. In this case, he would essentially be praising her for saying what she needs to say, and lamenting his own inability to deal with his own shortcomings. E

Either way, the song as a whole seems like a coping mechanism for him dealing with his frustrations in a relationship.
