The dilemma is that our days are governed by the manipulative type - they are much better at squeezing other people beneath their boot and seem powerful, when they are in fact just sub-human and somewhat lacking in character. Yet other people fall to worship the metric behind this "success", simply because its power looks so appealing. Eons of intense change to human lifestyle (further industrialization stages, in our case) will always look like this. There is no time and energy left to think with our heads, so we regress to meet short-term desires. I can tell you the metric is hollow, and its followers will never attain anything near the pinnacle of our human nature. The only curse is that we covet what we cannot have - control over everyone else, where money and social status are example tools. It makes us immature. And immaturity is now a disease of the majority. If someone has devised or atleast exploited this all - then it would not surprise me, because humanity as a whole is depicting a bunch of apes at the moment. It is not like it's difficult to twist our minds; socially, we adapt to almost anything, even if it's hopelessly mind-breaking nonsense. This modern way of life makes quick work of those few who are gifted to see within our nature - they are untrained in their plights, and often labelled mentally ill: Strike at humanity's eyes, then render the body your slave. Do not be shocked to encounter a titan in your lifetime - they cannot always be eluded, like society teaches us for tactic. Your offspring might just be able to show you more about this era than you had ever been able to see before. Your own nature will never relinquish you; even when beyond salvation. An ominous sign - the truth sears through those who have strayed to the point where they can no longer listen in a serious conversation. It is a reborn force of nature, incarnated as an aspect within a person. It cannot be contained by classic suppression techniques. The person is still a person. |

While modern day community may be a stage, the whole of our world is certainly not. Merge with your inner aspects, and think of why all these people are so crudely adapted to this scene that you depict. Then think again of those on the defined scale who you have forsaken; why some individuals for longer periods in their lives do not take part in charades at all - they are likely more than you imagine, because we do not earn the access to see them in that state as easily. Neither do you know their past. Chasing the astral, you will see many things others filter out. We deserve more. |

This song is extremely negative, albeit dampened by identification with the very sin they portray. It broods on our deficiency as human to do what is duly right for the greater good of all - the inability for most to set our own interests aside. People are not totally in touch with THEMSELVES. We have always distorted reality to make ourselves look grand, it must lie in the animal nature - seemingly, a complete lack of self-insight. Hence why you cannot discuss the true state of our world with just anyone; some will fail to take in, and fall on defensive mode. That is because life without the rose-tinted view leaves you with the cuts and the bruises. You can still shock those sedated back to life with powerful expressions - an artist would know the way. |

My take: This song is about captivation for objects of practiced emotion. Our juvenile hopes and expectations yield black holes and revelations - hopes that grant nothing but pain or emptiness in return fuel themselves even further up until the breaking point, where we are eventually forced realize the harsh truth to life -- relationships consist of two, not just of you. The process of growing up emotionally may be experienced as so cataclysmic (through depression and direct psychogenic pain) that you shouldn't really fall to surprise for considering the easy way out. "My life You electrify my life Let's conspire to ignite All the souls that would die just to feel alive" This is a sensitive individual's perspective on the longing that runs the furnace; the world around you does not deliver in this dimension. It feels like life is deprived of something fundamental, as you are especially disillusionized and starved. Add energy and hope to make the difference. This abstract void is also partially prevalent even on others outside of your life - and eventually what you will be able to detect, whether it torments them or not. |

11 years later --- This song is about power- be it as motivation to realize your own visions or by society's might. And how these two relate: The singer gives a perspective from where he is fatigued, just about to break through a stagnant role indirectly assigned to him by set norms - rather than individual will - exposing his true self. Making him feel vulnerable, full of doubt, when he is in fact just about to overturn a derelict pattern. A major decision is landing - someone could get hurt in its wake. |

Problem with our society is that its processing reminds too much of communism- there are only a handful of molds for each sex that the majority of other individuals will understand and accept/respect. We are all broken down or kept immature to the point where we are served perfectly into a specific role. Made ants... To a certain extent- this is healthy, but ignorance of design also sees this mechanic hit those that are especially creative and may make them turn on society rather than join in- rightfully so. Most of us are incredibly retarded on a mental plane and fail to justify the vast potential of our systems to lack such fundamental insights of how social and advanced creatures we really are... People can't be exactly the same; so in my opinion they shouldn't even have to waste efforts trying. It's not even genetically possible. Our current setup requires some form of deeper dimension for grating. I am sorry, but not everyone is fully worthy to make a stand on their own either- atleast not yet. First we have to fully automatize (let robots do all work) our base industries. I am no politician, so I don't have to lie up your faces with what I think. Though we are on our way :p You have to be an incredibly strong person just to fend off the attacks from others in the everyday for 20+ years straight and prevail. I happen to be one of those rare individuals, but I have only met like one-two other in my entire life... Fortunately one of them was a girl, so there is hope for you guys! :) Maybe she can teach you what humans are really like. |
