A lot of people assume just cos one is a skinhead that they must also be racist. There is an entire subculture of non-racist reggae/ska loving skinheads. The racist skins came later and basically ruined a cool subculture for future generations. The song is pretty self explanatory, i just wanted to add the something about "Bob" the NOFX song, which also happens to be about a skinhead. |

The first half is about a ramblin man who basically lives by his own rules. The second half seems to be about a guy livin in the streets and the protagonist has a problem with him being perfectly capable and the streets aint where he belongs. |

Sounds like its about a junkie. The "mama" he mentions could be trying to help him get clean but he doesn't want help, "Take care into the hall", but tell my friends im fine, and not usin nothin. As far as him burning out his eyes, maybe he's referring to the feeling of his first hit, or maybe saw a friend o.d. but was too high to do anything about it, standing like "a block of stone" knowing nothin. "Brothers" are the other junkies, and none of em feel they're strong enough to kick the habit. Oh and "being born" turned on to the drugs. |

I was thinkin maybe "revolver" means a man who is in and out of his life, or possibly a revolving door of men comin and goin. Dont mothers make great fathers, revolver? |
