So i could be wrong and this song could be about romance and relationships. But what i see it as is a song about a girl who died of a terminal illness. The first verse is talking about a get together with all of the girls friends for a weekend, possibly to cheer up the girl and make her feel loved and supported, even though she ends up feeling uncomfortable anyways. The second verse talks about a sickness no medicine could tame and the girl being succumbed to the sickness. The writer talks about dealing with the loss and how hard it is to have such a genuine relationship just to have it taken away from him. I think the prechorus under this context talks about how crazy and fast such life occurrences can happen, and there's no time to think about what to do next, all of it is a blur and doesn't slow down until its over. The chorus in my opinion is a pledge to the girl to always be there for her even when others walk away or give up on her. Talks about the special bind between the two, and how he will always be there |

| I think this song talks about the in-between stage after a break up. You dont know if you should talk to your ex, or if you should shut them out of your life. It sounds like the writer is trying to get over the ex, but still sees her and feels heartbroken for it. He's tortured when he's with her, because he is in a conflict of falling in love again, even though nothing will come out of it. the easiest thing would be for him to throw away everything and distance himself from her, because if she calls or tells him that she still loves him, he would jump right back into the relationship. | |
