If the core of the album is a series of songs about a relationship that crumbled only to yield Brandon's eventual marriage with Tana, is Brandon's life/marriage "battle born" in a sense? | |

For as open as Brandon is about his faith, it's odd that people often fail to connect his lyrics to the overt religious themes. This song has one of my favorite (though rare) features of Brandon Flowers/Killers lyrics--the play of words on sun/son and the knowing wink to people of faith. |
