This has nothing to do with DSOTM or any real interpretations but when I hear "On the Run" I think of the kind of music you might hear on the lead-in for local evening news. Especially in the '70s and '80s. The synth and hi-hats kick in and in my head there's a cartoon-ish news anchor, sort of a Ron Burgundy type character, and he's saying something like: "tonight on Action News 3 eyewitness news at 11"..... |
