This brilliantly performed, wonderful song of 1985, attached with 'Mad Max' theme of aftermath of Nuclear war, has a great significance with Nuclear Era, when Cold war was just ending and hope of significant Nuclear disarmament was in the air. World wanted OUT with potential nuclear destruction scenario within superpowers dominated 'Thunderdome' of the globe, and the awesome appeal and hope of such significance is strong within the phrase "So what do we do with our lives We leave only a mark Will our story shine like a light Or end in the dark Give it all or nothing" A great song of our time, so well performed with emotional content by a great Diva. |
