@[jackalalpha:4475] i dont think his love went cold, i thought he meant so when he said "my love was gone" but after attaching it to the next sentence it meant his love grew stronger(higher up) from the second floor to the eleventh, as a love not warm is a love not done. my interpretation is that he loves her dearly but shes made up her mind to leave, since he is embarking on his seven seas trips to conquer his fears, shes unwilling to join, (youve made your mind up anyway, another world another world) hence he says darling you let me know, and i miss my girl.. talking down the girl here means trying to win her over by winning the argument. which obviously didnt work. i so love this song, and Finn's art. |
