| I believe that this song reflects a man's chase of a woman. He wants her so much, he would do anything for her, but he never made it evident enough for her to notice. Now that he's run out of time because they are moving on in life depicted by "I'm losing you", however, emotionally he cannot let her go. She will not leave his every thought and she feels like a ghost that he is chasing. All the words that he has said have amounted to nothing because it is too late. Finally it is hitting him that he has run out of time, she is a ghost and he will never have her. And yet, he still wants her. | |
