| @[nominally:4378] i feel the song well actually the whole album is all about this character having a horrible break up and he's dealing with it in the least healthy way possible. this song in particular is about him breaking into her house and going through her room finding her hair on the bed and "nothing romantic has been said" its been forever since they spoke to eachother like an actual couple. he finds his pictures and knickknacks and "there is proof of your love for him long after its dead" he still thinks he has a chance because she hasn't thrown them away yet. he then proceeds to lay on her bed hearing the creeks and thinking about how many other men shes had on that bed so far "every creek a trigger i will think of you with others" and him getting upset over it "i cant not smother out the fire in my head" at least thats what i get from this song and songs like creep on creeping on where its about him stalking her. with a few exceptions thats what i pull from this albums dark moody and depressing tone. | |
