Everyone is saying that Jason was the main "brains " of Mayday Parade. I disagree as a huge fan and they all play their part. Lyrically Derek was and still is (after Jason left) a huge part of the passion and emotions portrayed as he went through a lot to write what he does, and also co-writed the songs we know and love. I don't think Mayday suck without him, they have evolved. Also Jason said himself that this isn't to do with him leaving MP. Jason still is a great songwriter and inspiration. And I listen to Go Radio and his new solo material, and its amazing. |
