So I wonder if anyone knows a little bit more about this song? I have been listening to it a lot lately and it kinda stands out of Laura's songs as one very personal and with its lyrics being quite specific. But is it her story or someone else's? It's not like I'm searching for gossips, I'm just curious.. |

Well, for starters, I'm not a religious person, just to be clear, but you know, it kinda occured to me, that this song might actually be adressed to God, It contains all the features of young believers, the uncertainty, doubt, maybe even shame in confronting it with his parents. And at the end "You gotta be the one, you gotta be the way, your name is the only word that I can say", this line would fit it perfectly. I don't know, haven't read any interviews with Win or anything, I just thought this might be an interesting take on this beautiful song. P.S.: And of course, if you're into symbols, you have the crown in the name of the song. Not much but it's there. |
