| It's arguably one of the most melancholic tracks on the Mosquito album. I feel that it's about the darker aspects of humanity and the lyrics confront the pain, despair, and emptiness experienced as a result. However, I think the song as a whole suggests that while such experiences are inevitable they will eventually pass ("some sun has gotta rise"). I like how the song examines how such suffering affects people but also has an encouraging tone insisting that it's better to let whatever it is that's disturbing us run its course because we will get through it in the end. | |
