Love this song, best by the band in my opinion. I feel that this song is about "the struggle" of the singer or songwriter's position in life and growing up/realizing the world he lives in is a lot tougher than he thought when he was younger. It also refers to the struggle of trying to get out your thoughts and feelings into lyrics as a band that get the message out you are trying to express through music. |

I don't know if Grizfolk as a band or any members are Christians, but I can't help but seeing some religious tones in this song. Love the lyrics to this song and I feel it is one of the strongest on the new album and should have been the opener. You can take this song as deep as you want, but if you want to really get to the core I personally feel that "the Giant(s)" this song refers to is God. |

On first listen, I feel like this is a love song. I believe a man is basically telling a girl he will love her till the end of time. Obviously in OMAM fashion, there are epic nature and fantasy elements at play, but I don't believe they want us to look too far into it. As with all of their songs, you can dig as deep as you want into the lyrics looking for meaning. |
