I feel like this song is to a guy and the singer and the guy are always fighting (the guns are a metaphor) and they are in a particularly big fight and she sounds like she's tired of it and she doesn't want to fight anymore(unarmed) she just wants to talk, cause she needs him (much to far to go alone) or she's giving up on fighting and him altogether. |

This song really does remind me of a panic attack. Kind of like a hypochondriac the way it keeps focusing on the heartbeat and being alive. The hypochondriac can't stop thinking about their heart beat so the have a panic attack because they think they're having a heart attack, which only makes their heart beat faster. And it says "while I'm still alive" which means that's their focus: being alive. I don't real know what this song is about, but that's kind of how I interpret it. |
