It's definitely about paranoid schizophrenia "mind shared by an unwanted stranger" and "see things that are not there, intruding voices" are the two phrases that stand out to me as being about PS because schizophrenia, at least used to be divided into different categories, today it's just positive, or soical, and delusional, and negative, very secluded and anti- societal, but paranoid was a subcategory ot schizophrenia and people had delusions, and hearing things, voices, seeing things, it's all mentioned in the song, and chuck does an excellent job of giving a visual description so we could begin to visualize what it could possibly be like to suffer from paranoid schizophrenia. |

To me this song isn't necessarily about the search for a higher being, or power, but from the perspective of that Higher power and how it knows what it does, but it still welcomes all. The line that stood out to me was "For Those who question my creation- I'm not real." It symbolizes that people have free right to or not to believe in religion, and if you don't then there's no one in the theory |
